Way To Go Smartie Pants!

This genius is graduating TODAY!
I'm so proud to call him my big brother.
And can't wait to see him on ESPN one day!
(for those of you who don't know, he's a broadcast journalism major & wants to be a sports broadcaster)
He is very smart and will go far.
He whizzed right thru college & there isn't anything he can't do.
Good Luck in the Future Kev!
I love you and know you will succeed.
My only request is that you please get a job somewhere warm so I can get a tan while I visit you ;)
Happy Graduation Keveroonie!

Anything is Better than Finals

I dread finals.
I hate them with all of my heart.
I am pretty good at avoiding stuff til I have no other choice.
It's funny the things I will distract myself with before cracking down and studyin' up.
I thought I'd share my most recent avoidance method.

I'll admit I'm an idiot, but this is how I feel about school.
Pulling stupid faces and taking pictures on my Mac tops homework any day.
Monday night I will be done with this miserable semester.
I can almost feel freedom and it feels good.
Too bad it will be short lived since I will be attending SUMMER school.
Talk about asking for a horrible summer.
Lucky Me.

Dancers Block

You've all heard of writer's block.
But have you heard of dancer's block?
I may have invented it.
But newly invented or not, I clearly have it.
For my Advanced Jazz class, we're required to do a solo for our final.
But whenever I work on it, I get stuck.
EXTREMELY stuck.
All creativity leaves me.
I seriously will not be focusing on it at all, and ideas will just come.
But when it comes time to use my ideas of course, I can't remember a single thing.
I'm pretty frustrated about the whole thing.
So if anyone has a cure, please let me know!

Jazz Game!

Tyler and I have been enjoyin our lives lately at the Jazz games. In the last 2 weeks we have gone up to Energy Solutions to watch the Jazz play twice and it has been pretty fun. The first game we went to was a rather boring game, but still a fun atmosphere. Last Tuesday, though, we had a blast. We didn't plan on going to the game, it was spur of the moment and planned on just scalping some tickets. But Tyler is probably the luckiest person I know...so of course, because he was there we landed FREE tickets! Nothing better than a FREE date and a great game, seeing the Jazz go into overtime and win was pretty great!

Some People Are Really Intelligent

This is a conversation I had on the phone with a guy today.

Me: Century 21 at the Rockies. This is Nicole, how can I help you?

Caller: Hi. You guys locked me out of my house. You have the extra key, I want YOU to come let me in.

Me: (already laughing inside, cuz there is No way I'm going to be the one letting him in. I definitely don't have his key). Ok, can you tell me who your agent is and I can get you in touch with him or her, because your agent would be the only one with a key.

Caller: Um, No.

Me: So you don't know who your listing agent is, is that correct?

Caller: Right.

Me: (really afraid to ask this next question, for fear his answer might also be no.) Can I get your address so I can find out who your agent is?

Caller: Yeah....(he then proceeded me to give me the address)

I was so glad he knew his address! I put him on hold to look it up, but no lie. The address he gave me doesn't even exist. Good thing I have a brain and figured out which home must be his anyway.

Me: Ok, it looks like your agent is..............I'm going to go ahead and put you in touch with him.

I transferred it, but my work was not done....he called back.

Caller: (pretty angry at this point) I got transferred but I got disconnected. I HAVE TO TALK TO SOMEONE. YOU GUYS HAVE TO LET ME IN. THERE IS NO LOCK or KEYBOX!

Me: (starting to wonder where this guys OWN key to his house is...) Ok, let me try to reconnect you or get you in touch with someone else who can help.

The call did work the second time...but when I looked up his agent I realized his home has been listed with us for almost a year, how on earth did this guy not know who he has listed, and relisted his home with? Sadly. This is pretty common. He did not even know if it was a man or woman who had listed it. Secondly, why doesn't he have a key to his own house? I even checked to see if the house was listed as vacant or occupied, sure enough it's occupied...so he should definitely have a key. Did he lock himself out and try to make it look like it was our fault??? Thirdly, my phone allows me to see exactly why a connection was lost. He hung up. This too happens everyday, people like to blame us when in reality, they get impatient and think if they hang up and call back we're going to be able to help them faster or something. I really got a laugh out of this one & just thought I'd share. I sort of wish I would have asked for his name, just to see if he knew that :)

yes, i am impatient

I hate waiting for things I am excited for.
It drives me absolutely crazy to wait.
Currently I'm excited to see how are family pictures turn out.
ALL of my Mom's side of the family was in town this weekend.
So for Easter we got family pictures.
Everyone looked so cute & I am dying to see what they look like.
I have a feeling it is going to be a looong wait.
...gah.
