Updates.

April seems to be flying by, but it has been a pretty busy month for us. I still need to post about our Easter, but it may never happen so don't hold your breath. Last week I went to St. George with my dad and met up with my Mom, Natalie and Nate who had gone down earlier in the week because they were on spring break.  The weather wasn't all that fabulous but it was still a really fun little getaway so I will definitely be posting some pictures and stuff from it on here soon! This week has been super crazy, I got home from St. George Sunday afternoon and Tyler was sleeping in preparation for the new job. He goes in on Sunday nights (which stinks, but I guess we will deal...he goes in at 11-- not too bad) so once he woke up we had a few hours to relax together and get him all ready to go. It was so weird having him leave so late. I stayed up a few hours and then hit the sack. It was so nice that when I woke up he was home! I thought I might feel lonely at night, but honestly I am kind of liking it...especially because Tyler is totally a blanket hog.  I am also grateful that I am one of those girls who doesn't get scared easily being alone. I don't mind it one bit. So far the only downside to it, is that I am home for the most part during the day but don't feel like I can do much of anything because I don't want to wake him...so basically the last few days I've spent most my time in front of the TV with the volume really low and a textbook in front of me (gotta love finals). I didn't really think about the fact that it would really limit by ability to accomplish anything during the day. Seriously Monday my first instinct was to go shower, but then I realized I couldn't use my blow dryer because it would be way too loud, so I bagged the shower and hung out in my pj's til 3. Tuesday Tyler got home from work around 8 and was able to take a 2 hour nap before he had to be to school, then after school hopped right back in bed for about 3 1/2 hours and then had just a few hours before it was time to be to work again, needless to say it kind of feels like the world is tipped upside down and nothing feels the same, but he likes the job and that's what is important I guess!  He's on his fourth night as I'm writing this and only one down before he'll be off for the weekend. I'm just really anxious for school to be done with so he can have a little less on his plate! To top things off, I've had a cold for the last week and have really been crossing my fingers that Tyler doesn't get it, its the last thing he needs. I also have been questioning if I have appendicitis. I had a lot of the symptoms a few weeks ago and then they just went away. Yesterday afternoon they came back, but I had a job interview and homework to do so I just kind of ignored them. I went to my parents after the job interview and they really thought I should go in and get it checked out, but by that point any regular doctors office and instacare were closed and I didn't want to go to the ER so i just went home instead. The pain went away briefly and then came right back and felt a little worse around the time Tyler was leaving so naturally I got myself all freaked out that I was going to have to drive myself to the hospital in the middle of the night...awesome. My parents were pretty concerned though still so they told me not to hesitate to call if I thought I needed to go in. Thankfully all symptoms and pain disappeared, so needless to say, I'm wondering what the heck is wrong with me. Crossing my fingers it doesn't come back! Sorry this post is super boring. I promise to post a happy fun post full of pictures real soon!!!

Conference Weekend

As a kid I'm ashamed to admit, the only thing I liked about conference weekend was it meant we didn't have to go to church! That is definitely not the case anymore. I get so excited as conference weekend approaches. I wish it happened more frequently than twice a year. I'm so grateful for living prophets and the direction they give us!

Saturday night during priesthood session I had girls night out with the Clyde girls. As always it was lots of fun. We went to dinner at the Thanksgiving Point Deli and went and saw the movie Mirror, Mirror. I wasn't sure if I would like the movie, but I loved it. Julia Roberts was fantastic as always. In fact, it may just be my favorite role for her. Above all though, the company was the best! (We missed you Rach and Amanda!) I love my family!

The new job.

My apologies for not posting more details earlier about Tyler's new job. The company he will be working is called U.S. Synthetics. They are located here in Orem and are supposedly one of the best companies in the state to work for so needless to say we are pretty excited for this change. Not to say Vancon was bad in any way, after all going to Maui on them last March was pretty great and they have been nothing but great to the Hunsaker family in general. However, there was no future for Tyler there and we are seeing a much greater possibility for Tyler with this new company. I think the change has started to make Tyler a little nervous since he has been in the same place the last 5 years but hopefully all goes as we hope! I am really excited for him. The only downside will be that I am no longer going to be seeing much off him. He is going to be working the graveyard shift for a little while...now if only I could convince them to hire me too ;)
