Friday Photos.

This is what happens to a poor girl when her husband finds the TCU game more amusing than his wife.

Picture 1: This is my face when I see Tyler wear this hat when it doesn't match.
Picture 2: This is me practicing my excited face for when BYU scores tomorrow.

Bottom line: I'm not very good very at finding "normal" ways to entertain myself...but I am sure thankful for photo booth.

Memorial Day

I love memorial day because .....

I love remembering my amazing grandparents who have passed on. I was lucky enough to have known all my grandparents and all but one of my great-grandparents...so visiting cemetery's on Memorial Day has become a favorite family tradition.

After our cemetery visit we had fun going to lunch with my family and grandparents and then spent several hours shopping...followed by our first babysitting experience since being married. Our cute niece came over and played with us while her family went to see Rio. We had lots of fun entertaining her, although our apartment isn't exactly equipped for kids...thank goodness for electronics...

Macbooks are pretty much the greatest toy ever...fun for ALL ages!

Oh Happy Day.

It's fall break and I am HAPPY!
minus the fact that i found a cricket on my bed this afternoon. eww
Its been a stressful busy last few weeks so this break feels amazing.
I am excited to have no homework and actually have time to breath!

Two thumbs up doesn't do my excitement any justice, so instead I went for 8 thumbs!
Props to my MacBook for making this possible.
Yay for Fall Break.
My sympathies go out to all you BYU students who won't be celebrating these next few days with me.
Guess you should have thought of that before you decided to go there :).

2 Years

2 years ago (yesterday) Tyler and I first started dating. Its crazy to think its been that long. Time really does fly. We decided to celebrate the occasion...and let me tell you, it was way more fun than 1 year. Last year we sat on the floor of my apartment and did homework, because we both were swamped in it. I actually think we may have gone to dinner, but I don't remember, probably because I was too stressed about school to enjoy the meal.
So...this year. We went to Olive Garden & we enjoyed it. No hurry back to homework. And then, we watched Killers. It was a nice low key way to celebrate!

Oh and he even bought me flowers! I love gerbera daisies so in the past that's usually what he's gotten me, but this time he got really smart and bought gerbera daisies in a pot...so they won't die as fast--when they do, it will probably be my fault :(

Thanks Tyler for such a great date!!! I love you.
