Day 2: DISNEYLAND!!!

The fun began Wednesday when we woke up bright and early and rushed to Cars Land to see what all the hype was about. We were in the park 15 minutes before opening and couldn't believe the crowd. They had it gated off so you couldn't get to Cars Land until 8, so we waited in a mass of people and then as soon as it opened we took off to the Radiator Springs Raceway. We didn't really have an actual wait, but it took 10 minutes or so just to walk through the line (tells you how crazy packed it gets). It was a very fun ride, and its crazy how well Disney pays attention to detail. Its no wonder kids believe its all real...it practically is!
I was pretty annoyed that Disneyland doesn't make Suburban size race cars...I mean lets get realistic Disneyland...lots of Mormons visit Disneyland. The least you can do is make sure there is a car to fit the whole family so the parentals don't get kicked to the curb.
Waiting in the line at Luigi's Flying Tires

Our tire group, we were smart at let the skinny little guy come with us. It worked to our benefit. These things are NOT meant to seat 3 people, and yet they do anyway. It was a definite squeeze!
These poor kids got stuck, after waiting 50 minutes in line for this less than exciting line...for us, this made the ride worth it...but for them probably not so much. They were leaning every which way (thats how you move these so called bumper cars)  and it got them absolutely nowhere, but don't worry we made sure to make it there way and point, laugh, and snap pictures.
For those of you who know my Dad, know he hates Disneyland. Then again, his ideal vacation is going to a ranch in the middle of know where... preferably in Montana. Anywho, Soaring Over California is what apparently keeps his Disneyland sanity, although this picture clearly says otherwise...
In all honesty, the crowds really weren't bad at all, but our iphones sure helped the time pass by.

Disneyland Fun.

The Teacups!
This was my favorite ride when I very first went to Disneyland when I was 7.

Pretty much I loved the new Toy Story Ride, not to mention I'm pretty much amazing at it.

Well I think everyone and their dog likes to get there picture by the letter of their name...how cool are we? 3 N's all in one.

Tower of Terror!
Lots of fun....
My mom's face is my favorite :)

I'm So Excited.

So I was thinking about it yesterday...and I'm WAAAAAYYY overdue for a vacation. I realized that the last REAL vacation I went on was Heritage Tours & a trip to Northern California in the Summer of '07! (REAL meaning...I don't count St. George as a REAL vacation.) That is way too long to go without some out of state fun. A week from Sunday I'm going to be in heaven...a week off of work...and a chance to sit back relax and enjoy the San Diego sun...not to mention a wonderful trip to Disneyland and Seaworld. The last time my fam went to Disneyland and Sea World everybody got pretty sick and miserable so I'm excited to go back again and actually be able to enjoy it! I'm so excited to go I can hardly stand it. I will DEFINITELY be posting pictures from my trip once I am back but until then...

Here are some pics from some of my FUN vacations from the past....

A Trip To Florida...Or So I Had Hoped... :(

The other day....
My Mother came to me and said, out of the blue, "We need to go to Florida."
I was surprised it came out of her mouth, it was so random.
But of course, duh!
I couldn't agree more. But I had to ask...
WHY? WHERE ON EARTH is THIS coming from?

She proceeded to tell that when I was in the fifth grade we went to Florida,
coincidentally, I am her only child who has not had health problems
and surgery in the fifth grade!
She is attributing my good health to the trip to Florida.
So she thinks we need the trip.
Unfortunately though, she just took her fourth child, who is the youngest in
for surgery so she is a little late on the planning and so I am fairly certain
that she will not be following through on this vacation.
It was a nice thought though.
But a horrible thing to tell your daughter and get her hopes up! :(

FLORIDA...I miss you!

I think at MGM?

One of the teams I competed with in Florida.
I think I was the shortest one which is sad,
because no one from my real team went to Florida
so all but one of these girls is two years younger than me.
