The 4th of Forever Ago

July is a month that I always struggle to find time for blogging.
Guess that's what happens when your having fun!

For the 4th of July this year, I had to work, but got off early enough that I was able to make it to a late lunch with Russ and Misty and still do all the fun stuff at night. We went to the annual Lunt BBQ. The Lunt's are long time friends with Tyler's family and have tons of people over on the 4th and always put on a great firework show and have lots of yummy food! This year we weren't there very long and I didn't take any pictures, but it was still really fun.

I did take a picture of my cupcake from our BBQ.
It tasted as a good as it looks!
After eating at the BBQ we went to Kevin and Page's house to join up with my family to watch the fireworks. From Kevin's house there is a clear shot of the Thanksgiving Point fireworks so we figured it would be a perfect place to watch them from. Then we got an even better idea and climbed up on his roof and watched all the fireworks all over the Valley! And I must say, Thanksgiving Point's were pathetic compared to everyone's personal ones!
Picture of the fire from Kevin's roof
After all the fireworks we went to my parents and I watched the quail fire through my dad's scope. Yes, I'm a complete nerd. I have to admit as sad as fires are, I am really intrigued by them and was really mesmerized by this one. I think Tyler thought I was nuts. I could have stayed all night just to stare at it.
Hope everyone's 4th was as fun as ours!
Stay tuned for lots more July posts!!!

WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY AND SAFE
(hopefully fire-free!)
4TH OF JULY!!!
I will be working for part of the day, but then Tyler and I will be celebrating by barbequing
with our friends and family!
There will be fireworks involved, but we won't be lighting them. We're leaving that job up to Lehi's fire dept.
We don't want to be responsible for anything like this...

July Adventures.

This  month I have felt like it was completely impossible to find time to blog, but here I finally am.
The business really all started the last week of June. So busy in fact, my mother didn't even get a birthday blog post (sooo sorry Mom.) We did start the week off though, by celebrating with her at Olive Garden.
Then of course their was the 4th of July weekend...Friday we had my grandma and grandpa's annual 4th of July BBQ.
Saturday we spent the day on the lake with Tyler's parents and Misty & Russ. We went to Mona Reservoir since its so close to Hunsaker's home. It was fun and much less crowded than Utah Lake! Saturday night we went and watched fireworks with Chelsey, Mitch, Russ, and Misty.
There aren't any docks so Tyler had to walk out to the boat...he was freaking out because the water was so cold.
Tyler showing off his wake boarding skills. I will be able to do this...one day!
The group on the boat...minus Kirk and Kim.
Russ and Misty watching the fireworks.
Tyler and I enjoying the show!
Me & Misty.
(I realized later that I didn't get any of Chelsey and Mitch! My bad!)
This was one of the funniest moments of the night. Tyler was sitting in a camp chair and suddenly we all heard him say whoooa whooa...and ended up on the ground in a bunch of weeds.

Sunday we had a going away party for Jeff since he moved back to Vegas to live with him mom. So sad Tyler and I didn't get a picture with him before he left. We were planning on taking one and then forgot :( but I did manage to get one with Jaynee and Cameron who are also moving away very soon!
Monday we woke up nice and early and went to the 4th of July parade, hit up 7peaks, then a movie, then a Neighborhood BBQ followed by fireworks! It was a Busy and VERY FUN 4th.
The 2nd week of July we went to Arizona for my cousin Emilee's Wedding. We were sooo glad we could be there for her and as always, it was great seeing family! Tyler's not sure he ever wants to go back to the crazy heat though!!! He was happy to come home!
On the plane on the way down.
In the car on the way to the temple!
Us at the Mesa Temple. I was planning on getting a picture where you can actually see that its the temple but after walking to the car to get the camera I decided I was done with the heat and it wasn't worth going back out in the shade, so we just snapped one in the shade.
Me & the Pops at the airport ready to come home!
Our plane got delayed several hours so we all showed how thrilled we were. We were even more thrilled at 2am when we finally got home! ...should have seen our faces then!

The 3rd week of July was full of lots of fun too. We went to an owls game for FHE with Russ and Misty. Then on Saturday we went to Wyoming for the Hunsaker Family Reunion. It was fun to get to meet Tyler's Grandma Hunsaker for the first time! Saturday night we decided to camp overnight and had lots of fun doing it.

We played minute to win it and Russ got to do the Rump Shaker.
Jack was super cute eating this popsicle & he loved it!!!
Our family with Grandma Isabelle.

Sunday was Tyler's BIRTHDAY and we spent half of it in the car driving home. We did go by his Grandma's barn before we headed home. It was a pretty low key day, once we were home he opened his presents and had his favorite Magelby's chocolate cake! Well...he had cake, I just watched him blow out all 25 candles!
Tyler has been looking at this forever...so I bought I gave it to him!

....This post really could go on forever, but since I already feel like this post was overkill I think it will save some fore next time! Needless to say, we've been busy!

Busy July

I think July is going faster than any month this year...
Probably because it has been the most fun month this year in my opinion.
I've been so busy I haven't blogged much about it.

So here is a little of what I have been up to...

Stadium of Fire.

BBQ's in the canyon.
Boating
Celebrating with the Fam.

Celebrating Tyler's Birthday

& the BEST stuff is yet to come.
Hawaii bound in just a few hours!
Wahoo.
